Dog show is coming to the county showground

THE Staffordshire County Showground is hosting one of the biggest dog shows in the UK this week.
-
Dog owners from in and around the county are invited to speak to canine experts from The Kennel Club at its roadshow stand at the Birmingham National Championship show and 'have a go' at dog showing with their pet.
More than 8,500 dogs are entered in the dog show at Staffordshire County Showground from Thursday 8 May - Sunday 11 May, in the hopes of catching the judges' eyes to take the title of Best In Show and qualify for Crufts 2026. For those considering getting a puppy, it's a perfect opportunity to meet more than 200 pedigree breeds and find out about their characteristics, needs and what they're like to live with.
