South Wales Evening Post
|March 04, 2026
A CHILDREN'S toy featuring popular animated characters has become the latest to be urgently recalled due to a serious health risk.
-
The activity kit features beloved characters from Paw Patrol, but has been withdrawn from sale over fears it may contain traces of asbestos.
The Paw Patrol Sand Art Pictures Kit from Addo Play Limited has been removed from sale and is being recalled from customers. The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) warned: "The product presents a risk to health as the sand included in the set may be contaminated with a quantity of asbestos."
Addo Play Limited has recalled the products, which were sold at The Entertainer, Tesco and M&S. It is described as a sand art kit with multiple colours of play sand and plastic bottles.
