A GRITTY new trailer for the forthcoming Channel 5 drama based on the downfall of former BBC news anchor Huw Edwards hints at his dark side as he acted up to his 'national treasure' image.

Released just weeks before Power: The Downfall of Huw Edwards airs, the latest trailer features never before seen footage from the film, including a first look at Osian Morgan who plays victim 'Ryan'.

The trailer opens with Martin Clunes as the professional face of Llanelli-raised Edwards on TV announcing the start of another bulletin as he says: "Good evening, tonight at 10."
