TSHEPO BULU (PART 2)
Tshepo Bulu, thanks a lot for all the stories you shared with us last week. We really appreciate it. Let's pick up from where we left off; what can you share with us this week? Thanks a lot for having me. I really miss the days I spent at Kaizer Chiefs with guys like Siphiwe Tshabalala, what a nice guy. Whenever he was happy, he would always crack a joke or two. But let me share with you a story about Thuso Phala during the time when we beat Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8.
Go ahead, the floor is yours...
After the game, the club threw a party for us, and we were asked which players were going to drink and which ones were not going to drink. But Thuso was too scared to raise his hand and tell the club officials that he would be drinking so he decided to take his drinks outside and drink on the side because he didn't want anyone to see him drinking. And now, there were four 10-seater cars outside the venue that belonged to senior players like Cyril Nzama, Thabo Mooki, Fabian McCarthy and I think Shaun Bartlett, if I'm not mistaken. And now Thuso, after having a few drinks, decided to approach Cyril to ask him for car the keys. And Cyril was baffled and was like, "What do you need car keys for, because I will take you back to your place when we are done?"

We knew the task was bigger than us
Congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns on their crucial CAF Champions League semi-final first leg win away to Esperance on Sunday night. It was a gutsy performance by the Brazilians as they showed a lot of character against such a hostile crowd. The atmosphere was unbelievable as Esperance supporters came out in their numbers to try and intimidate their visitors, but the Chloorkop-based team stood their ground and remained resolute.

More eyes are on women's football
Nthabeleng “Dunga” Modiko’s job as the head coach of the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Women’s FC doesn’t just entail leading the first team in the Hollywoodbets Super League, the Varsity Cup and the University Sports South Africa (USSA) Women’s Football Championships. She’s also in charge of their Sasol League and Local Football Association (LFA) sides. Last year the Kroonstad-born coach was named USSA Women’s Football Championships Coach of the Tournament after leading her side to victory. She was also in charge of the UJ side that finished seventh in the Hollywoodbets Super League. In this interview with Soccer Laduma’s Mzoxolo Budaza, the former Banyana Banyana captain opens up about her duties at UJ, what women’s football needs and the role played by supporters in the development of community women’s clubs.
