MASTER of Malt has launched a new, limited edition range timed to coincide with this summer’s World Cup 2026.

The five-expression collection features independent bottlings of English, Scottish and Irish whisky. Each carries labels which evoke iconic eras in “the beautiful game” from the wonders of Italia '90 to Scotland’s last appearance in the finals at France 1998.

Master of Malt is an independent bottler based in Tonbridge, Kent.

The collection includes: Adnams 9 Year Old which comes from Southwold in Suffolk one of England’s most celebrated craft distilleries. It is limited to just 340 bottles and has an RRP of £39.95 and an ABV of 46.6%.

Next is an English Distillery 12 Year Old which is a cask strength single malt from an undisclosed English distillery. This has been matured in a bourbon cask and is described as bold and structured at full strength with hints of melon rind, molasses, ice cream and waffles.

It too is a limited edition with just 240 bottles and has an RRP of £59.95 and an ABV of 54%.

From north of the border comes the Highland Distillery 12 Year Old which is also from a secret distillery. It has an RRP of £44.95 and an ABV of 46.3%.
