Wait is just going to be little longer

THE eagerly awaited 2026 World Cup draw is so complicated, it’s going to take two days for Scotland and England to learn their full schedule.

The new, larger 48-team tournament means the draw is much trickier to organise than in previous years.

While Scotland manager Steve Clarke and England boss Thomas Tuchel will learn their opponents today, they will not get their the fixtures or match venues confirmed until the following evening.

Many supporters around the world, while accepting extra time is needed to confirm the 104 matches at the finals, feel it will take some of the excitement away from the draw.
