Peggie case exposes Scotland's 'silent coup'

IN an eloquent post on social media, the drugs campaigner Annemarie Ward said Scotland has had a “silent coup”.

And she wrote that “nothing exposed it more clearly than the Sandie Peggie case”.
The A&E nurse simply asked for a female changing room where she didn’t have to change in front of a male colleague.
And yet, as Ms Ward states, “NHS Fife reacted as if she’d challenged a sacred doctrine”. With this in mind, we applaud Ms Peggie for her bravery in appealing the decision in her employment tribunal.
