New Bhoy Nygren is very handy at bandy

BENJAMIN NYGREN might be a football star, but he had choices to make as a kid as a sporting allrounder - with bandy among his favourites.

Bandy is a huge winter sport in Sweden - it's like ice hockey played with a small spherical ball instead of puck - and the Celtic winger revealed he was a dab hand at a variation of it before setting his sights on becoming a footballer.

The 24-year-old, right, has settled well with Brendan Rodgers' Hoops, but his career might have taken a different path after trying his hand in several activities as a youngster.
