McGinn: Point is it's still progress

PAUL MCGINN reckons the fact Motherwell players were disappointed at only leaving Tannadice with a point shows how far they have come this season.

The Steelmen extended their unbeaten league run to nine games courtesy of the draw against Dundee United. McGinn admitted they were hungry for more but claimed that sense of disappointment shows the progress made under boss Jens Berthel Askou.

The Well skipper said: "Their keeper's not had much to do, bar a few snapshots. So, yes, pretty disappointed.

"Does that show just how far the team's come this season? Yes, I think so.
