Idris Elba faces another intense journey on public transport in season two of thriller Hijack

Sam Nelson survived a midair hijacking in the 2023's Hijack, but for the second series of the Apple TV+ thriller, he is the one taking hostages on a Berlin underground train.

"Sam is older, wearier and desperate not only for justice but also revenge," says Idris Elba, who reprises his role as the determined business negotiator. "He's gone from being someone who is confident that he can talk anyone into doing what he wants, to someone aware of his own vulnerability, who is barely holding it together. That made this an exciting challenge for me."
