AS tributes continue to be paid to the late Pope Francis, his incredible impact on millions of people around the globe continues to be illustrated by an outpouring of grief.
Born and raised in the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires, the Pontiff's love for his homeland never waivered, although he never set foot there for the last 12 years of his life.
Once he was elected Pope in 2013, the man born Jorge Mario Bergoglio dedicated his life to the world.
