For two decades, Pretty in Pink has stood as a radiant symbol of faith, resilience, and sisterhood.
-
Founded by the compassionate and determined Michelle Vaughan, this extraordinary program continues to touch the lives of women who are battling various forms of cancer not just with words of comfort, but with an atmosphere of love, empowerment, and encouragement that uplifts the soul.
The seeds of Pretty in Pink were planted years ago when Michelle lost a dear friend to cancer. Out of her grief came a divine calling a vision to create something that would not only honor her friend's memory but also pour light into the hearts of women facing the fight of their lives. She wanted to create a space where women could be reminded that they are not alone, that their lives still matter, and that beauty, purpose, and hope can still bloom even in the face of pain.
This year marked the 20th anniversary of Pretty in Pink, an incredible milestone that reminds us all of the power of perseverance, faith, and love in action. The celebration took place at the Baptist Temple Worship Center in Camden, New Jersey, under the leadership of Reverend Darrell W. Winston, Esquire a man whose compassion and spiritual leadership set the tone for a gathering that was as powerful as it was personal.
The sanctuary was filled with shades of pink - the color of hope, healing, and courage. Women arrived dressed in vibrant hues, each shade representing their individual journey and collective strength. There were survivors, fighters, caregivers, and family members - all coming together to celebrate life, remember loved ones, and encourage one another to persevere.

White House College Sports “Reforms” would simply codify inequity
\"They're not serious about the exploitation of college athletes, protecting their health, safety and ability to share in the enormous profits that's being created because of their sweat and labor...There's no industry or activity in America where this much wealth is created and the people that actually create the wealth are not seeing the kind of benefits or protections they deserve.\" -- U.S. Senator Cory Booker College sports can open opportunities for student-athletes.
