The dynamic discussion features Joan Myers Brown, Dyana Williams, and Oshunbumi Fernandez West, alongside their legacy children, as they share insights on continuing their extraordinary work for future generations.Recently held at Loft17 Avenue in Wyncote, PA, and moderated by Patty Jackson of WDAS FM & iHeart Media, the panel discussion featured legacy children as they shared insights on continuing their extraordinary work for future generations.

Panelists included

Joan Myers Brown is an American dance company director and former dancer. In 1970, she founded PHILADANCO, a modern dance company in Philadelphia. Joan passed the baton to her daughter, Marlisa Brown Swint, who is the Director of Operations for Philadanco.

Dyana Williams is an American radio and music industry professional, journalist, community activist, artist development and media coach, documentarian, and founder of Influence Entertainment, as well as co-founder of the Pennsylvania-based nonprofit advocacy organization, the International Association of African American Music Foundation (IAAAM Foundation).

Dyana passed her baton to her son, Caliph Gamble, President of the Black Music Association (BMA).

Oshunbumi Fernandez West is the second-generation Odunde leader.
