March is National Nutrition Awareness Month, which is an opportune time for these 3rd through 5th-grade students to learn about whole and processed foods. They cooked a veggie frittata with vegetable hash and kale pesto while also building on skills they learned in previous classes—such as knife skills, measuring, and using a food processor.
