THE Springbok Women's impressive Rugby World Cup campaign is already paying dividends for the next generation, with head coach Swys de Bruin praising the "confidence and connection" radiating through the broader training squad after completing their first alignment camp for the 2026 season in Stellenbosch yesterday.

De Bruin noted that the returning World Cup players arrived with a renewed sense of belief following the team's best-ever performance at the global showpiece, and that energy quickly spread through the group.
"It was great to see the players again that travelled to the World Cup with us; it was very easy to pick up the connection again," said De Bruin.
"The squad really created a wonderful bond over the last couple of months and you can see the confidence they have after their best ever finish in the tournament."
