Call me superficial, but my head is easily turned by a game's looks and with its Tim Burton-esque vibes, this instantly caught my attention.

The Midnight Walk sees you play as The Burnt One, who befriends Potboy, a lost lantern creature.

Together you have to survive encounters with monsters as you make your way through a weird and wonderful world.

With five tales to play through, the game promises a host of incredible characters.

Graphically it looks stunning, the landscape handcrafted with real clay and animated in a stop motion style.

Priced at £34.99, it feels a little steep for what you're getting, but classic fight game fans might disagree.
