Seafront pub closes as new owners prepare to take over

A popular seafront pub closed at the weekend as it prepares to be reopened under new owners.

The Ferryboat Inn in Hayling Island, was put up for sale by the Stonegate Group late last year.
It has been bought by Bramley Pub Co, a Hampshire-based independent hospitality company, which only became incorporated in March this year, according to Companies House.
The pub is listed on their website as "our first venue."
