This spring, the creativity and voices of artists with a learning disability take centre stage in Portsmouth's first-ever disability-led arts exhibition and festival.

- by News Reporter

Aspex Portsmouth and This New Ground present Inside alongside Pivot Fest, the city's first-ever disability-led arts exhibition and festival.

Opening at Aspex on March 27, Inside is an immersive, vibrant and bold three-month exhibition, created by artists from This New Ground (TNG), an organisation that supports artists with a learning disability to make, share and lead art projects.

Inside is the culmination of a two-year project called Groundwork that has included capturing the oral histories from people with a learning disability living in Portsmouth. This work has created the city's first dedicated archive of histories of people with a learning disability, which will be kept at Portsmouth Central Library.
