Global Soccer Schools International (GSSI), a youth development academy founded by Nick Aresti, is involved in junior football circles both locally and abroad.

GSSI youth development academy nurtures future soccer stars

Originally launched as Brazilian Soccer Schools, the programme drew inspiration from Brazil's famed flair and technical mastery, particularly in five-a-side football known as Futbol de Salao (FDS).

Speaking to Polokwane Observer, GSSI head coach Clayton Chuni explained how the school has adapted that philosophy to suit local talent. “We took the foundation of Brazilian-style play and integrated it with the development of kids across South Africa. It has brought a very unique style of football to the players within our programme,” he said.
