Britpop fans from Renfrewshire were yesterday gearing up for the three highly-anticipated Oasis shows at Murrayfield in Edinburgh.

The legendary Mancunian rockers were returning to Scotland for the first time in 16 years for three sold-out performances.

The first was due to be held last night with another planned for this evening and a final show on Tuesday.

While their exact set-list has not been revealed as yet, on previous dates the band has performed classics such as Wonderwall-which propelled the rockers into stardom-as well as Morning Glory, Talk Tonight, D'you Know What I Mean? and Don't Look Back in Anger.
