Dead Ringers Live - aka impressionists Lewis MacLeod, Duncan Wisbey, Jan Ravens - and Jon Culshaw

Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Lewis MacLeod and Duncan Wisbey will be bringing their hilarious range of impressions to the Philharmonic Hall on January 31.

However, the comics have mixed feelings about the tour as they are doing it in tribute to producer Bill Dare, who sadly died aged 64 last year. Bill was the driving force behind the sketch show as he came up with the idea and took it to the BBC.

Impressionist Jon, from Ormskirk, said Bill was coming up with ideas for the tour show when he died and the performances are in tribute to him.

He said: “He was just starting to put together the continental plates of this show, working out the format, how it should guide people through the last 25 years of history via the Dead Ringers lens.”

Bill tragically died in a car crash last March and Lewis recalled his emotions when he heard the terrible news.
