The 48th national Baisakhi festival, organised by Chinta O Chetna one of Odisha's oldest cultural and social service organisations will be held from April 15 to 18 at Rabindra Mandap, said, organisation's national secretary Surendra Das Monday.

The four-day cultural celebration, marking the Odia New Year, will be inaugurated by Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy. Distinguished guests include Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan, Commerce, Transport, Steel & Mines Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, and Odia Language, Literature & Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj. Editor of Dharitri and OrissaPOST Tathagata Satpathy will also be in attendance.
