When councils will be collecting your bins over Christmas

BIN collection changes for the 2025 festive period have been confirmed across Nottinghamshire as people are reminded about recycling rules during the Christmas holidays.

Normal collection dates change every year due to the bank holidays falling within the festive season. The district, borough or unitary council for each area across the county is responsible for collecting bins and all eight of them have now confirmed their upcoming changes.
Rushcliffe and Mansfield have managed relatively few collection changes this year, whilst Bassetlaw will see 17 changed dates. People are also being reminded what can and cannot be recycled during Christmas, with households being reminded that all waste must fit inside wheelie bins with the lid firmly closed. Below are the new dates for each area, with the new collection date highlighted in bold.
