They can be so irritating, but a trip to Leeds changed my view of young
Nottingham Post

AREN’T young people irritating? All that hair and absence of wrinkles.
All those strong limbs and pain-free backs.
They walk around, bold as brass, showing off belly buttons and shoulders while oldies like me are thinking it’s time to put another layer on.
It’s not so bad when there's the odd one or two. But try being among them as a tiny minority.
You could be sitting in a pub, complaining about the price of beer and wondering if young hands come with phones surgically attached, and there they are, loving being out and among friends as they whoop and holler...
Jealousy’s a terrible vice, isn’t it?
It's just that it’s hard to adjust when you're normally in the company of fellow grumbling greys for whom life’s final big milestone is looming large.
