VUE has had to close some screens at its new Nottingham cinema less than a week after opening as air conditioning problems left some patrons complaining about being "fried".

The air conditioning is not working in some parts of the cinema, in The Cornerhouse, and the owners are having to temporarily shut some screens to cool them down.
The cinema opened on Friday and negative Google reviews have already been posted, mainly focusing on problems with the air conditioning.
Some customers said screenings were cancelled at the last minute, while others said they walked out due to the "extremely uncomfortable" heat.
The issues came amid sizzling temperatures over the weekend.
