Magpies boosted but Jatta ruled out of facing Bromley

AFTER getting their first win of the season in midweek, Notts County are gunning for more home success as they welcome Bromley to Meadow Lane today (3pm).
The Magpies beat Shrewsbury Town 4-1 on Wednesday night, as Martin Paterson celebrated his first competitive victory as head coach after picking up only one point from the first three League Two fixtures.
Four goals and four different goal scorers made for a good night against the Shrews but it is just the start as far as Paterson is concerned.
"It's always good to get the first win but there's no massive shift in our mentality because the players know that we were unlucky not to get more from the first couple of games, but football owes you nothing," said Paterson.
"I think that is the first time we've had a complete performance and the progression of that is that we add to certain parts of it and make small improvements each week.
