Demand for consumer durable products is set to rise as the income tax relief in Budget 2025 is expected to boost purchasing power.
Among the key beneficiaries is Voltas Ltd, though it is navigating the challenge of balancing market share growth with profitability.
In a seasonally weak December quarter (Q3FY25), it posted a strong 18% on-year growth in consolidated revenue to ₹3,105 crore. It also swung to a net profit of ₹130 crore from a loss a year earlier.
