Speaking at the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Leaders Summit, he urged the three nations to send a clear and united message calling for changes in institutions responsible for global governance.
Addressing South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Modi said the world currently appears fragmented and divided, adding that IBSA can offer a model rooted in unity, cooperation and humanity. He stressed that the grouping represents not only three countries but a platform linking three continents, three major democratic societies and three significant economies.
