|June 12, 2025
THERE are plans to build 50 houses and flats in Tonypandy town centre on the site of a former block of flats.
-
Trivallis Housing Association has submitted plans for a residential development at Mitchell Court off Court Street.
The proposals include 17 one-bedroom apartments, 25 two-bedroom apartments, four two-bedroom houses and four three-bedroom houses.
It would also involve 32 car-parking spaces, keeping existing trees where possible and a new green infrastructure strategy throughout the site.
It would have internal storage for refuse and bikes, a new access road and a substation.
