The distribution, held at Mabuhay Court near Dr. Josefa Jara Martinez High School, was led by Mayor Joy Belmonte and FFCCCII Executive Vice-President Jeffrey Ng.

The event also marked the turnover of a P1-million donation from FFCCCII to support relief efforts for typhoon-hit communities in the city.

In her message, Belmonte thanked the Filipino-Chinese community for its generosity.
