First Couple lead launch, groundbreaking of new medical facilities

President Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos led the opening and groundbreaking of two major health initiatives that aim to improve medical care access for veterans, children, and the general public.

Marcos, on Friday morning, June 27, inaugurated the country's first Valor Clinic at Fernando Air Base in Batangas. Launched under the Veterans Access to Lifetime Optimized Healthcare or Valor Health Network Program, the new Valor Clinic is designed to serve over 93 percent of veteran soldiers currently unreached by the existing healthcare system.
In his remarks during the inauguration, the President expressed gratitude to the country's soldiers for their sacrifices.
“Hindi matutumbasan ng kahit anuman ang inyong paglilingkod (Nothing can ever equal your service),” he said.
“Sana ay maipadama ng pamahalaan na may masasandalan kayo sa oras ng pangangailangan (I hope the government can be your support when you need it),” he added.
