4 rescued after banca sinks in Quezon

MAUBAN, Quezon — A 23-year-old laborer drowned and four individuals were rescued after their banca sank in Barangay Santa Lucia here on Sunday, March 30.
The victim was identified as Jericho Agnasin.
Rescued were Merwill, 28; Angelie, 26; and her twin children Adreil and Avriel.
Bantay Dagat members were patrolling when they saw the capsized banca that came from Barangay Santo Niño here.
Merwill and Angelie saved the twins and swam until they reached the shallow part of the sea.
