TOP BARTENDER SET TO BRING FUN BAR ON THREE FLOORS TO THE NORTHERN QUARTER, SERVING BEER AND CLASSIC COCKTAILS
THE TEAM behind one of Manchester's best cocktail bars are set to open another spot in the city centre.
Top bartender Dan Berger of Blinker, will open his second bar in the former Fierce Bar site in the heart of the Northern Quarter.
Named The Morris, the multi-concept venue will open in the spring on Thomas Street.
Dan opened Blinker in May 2022 to critical acclaim, earning multiple award nominations and landing at number six in the UK's Top 50 Cocktail Bars list in 2024.
The bartender, who grew up in Heaton Mersey, has spent the bulk of his career working in some of the best cocktail bars in Melbourne and London.
The Morris takes over from Fierce Bar which sadly closed in December last year. First opened in 2020, the bar was from Scottish brewery Fierce Beer, which has won numerous awards for its range of drinks.
