Charity hopes for help to buy much-needed specialist beds
Macclesfield Express
|June 25, 2025
EAST Cheshire Hospice has today launched a Bed Appeal to provide patients with new specialist beds which are much needed.
-
The charity is hoping the community will respond to a plea for help to replace 16 beds at a total cost of £95,650.
They are more than just a bed, according to clinical staff who see during the day-to-day care of patients that existing specialist beds are ready to be updated. That depends on funding, hence the public appeal.
Claire Barber, the Hospice's Clinical Services manager, said: "I'm making a heartfelt appeal - one that lies at the very heart of the care we provide.
