Concerns over state of popular site
CONCERNS have been raised about the state of a popular Liverpool beauty spot that was once considered “magical”.
People visiting The Fairy Glen in Sefton Park say they are “sad” to see how it has deteriorated.
The Fairy Glen is a special garden area in the eastern section of the south Liverpool park. The traditionally tranquil spot features several water cascades flowing over an existing rock face into a pool, and has always drawn visitors from Merseyside and beyond.
The beauty spot holds a special place in the hearts of Peter Thomas and his wife Jodi, whose families moved out of Liverpool in the 1960s and 70s to Winsford, in Cheshire.
