FANS' DELIGHT AS BROOKSIDE MAKES ITS COMEBACK

The famous Brookside theme tune played as Donny Clark's cab arrived in the Close last night

BROOKSIDE fans were glued to their screens as the iconic Liverpool soap returned to TV last night.

After 22 years, viewers were taken back to the famous L12 cul-de-sac for a crossover episode with Hollyoaks, after Channel 4 announced earlier this year they would be bringing it back to celebrate three decades of the Chester-based soap.
