Invitation to join the UK's biggest swim

THIS year is the 40th anniversary of the nationwide charity Swimathon - and Leicestershire is throwing itself into the event.

Aylestone leisure centre, Braunstone leisure centre, Wigston Pool and Fitness Centre, Charnwood leisure centre and Parklands leisure centre, Oadby, are all hosting fundraising swims from March 20 to 22.
Organisers are calling on swimmers of all ages and abilities to make a splash for Cancer Research UK, end-of-life charity Marie Curie and Swimathon Foundation.
Since 1986, more than 750,000 participants have taken part in the UK and raised more than £55 million for good causes.
