KING STILL WAITING TO HEAR WHO WILL BE THE NEW CITY MANAGER
LEICESTER City's situation has grown more desperate after falling into the Championship's bottom three, and with no new manager in sight, writes Jordan Blackwell.
While City were being knocked out of the FA Cup by Southampton, they had the double blow of seeing Blackburn win at QPR, a result that leaves them 22nd in the Championship table.
It was a debut win for new Rovers manager Michael O’Neill, with his appointment leaving City as the only managerless club in the division.
It has now been 22 days since Marti Cifuentes was sacked, and in that time interim boss Andy King, left, has overseen three league defeats and an extra time cup exit.
He is also in the dark over the manager search.
