ANDY King praised City's players after a tough week back in training.
King, the former City midfielder and now coach, oversaw the first week of preseason training following the departure of manager Ruud van Nistelrooy at the end of last month.
The intention of the coaching team is getting the players up to speed for when a new manager is appointed, with the season now just five weeks away.
