Admissions are cancelled at children's home

THE problem-plagued Moorview Children's Home in Leek is to accept no more youngsters into care.

The decision was taken by Staffordshire County Council residential care review sub committee, last Thursday, after members studied the latest in a series of on-going reports into incidents at the home.
Staffordshire Social Services committee will now consider a full report from the sub committee at their meeting in June, before making a final decision about the future of Moorview.
