First-teamers sidelined as pre-season starts with win
A number of Paul Heckingbottom's key first-teamers were forced to sit out North End's opening preseason victory at Chorley on Wednesday night.
Heckingbottom used 22 players in Wednesday night's 1-0 win at Victory Park.
Stefan Thordarson's second-half goal earned the Lilywhites victory.
