|May 09, 2025
THE Isle of Thanet Photographic Society's last club competition of the season featured digital projected images, and attracted more than 60 entries from members of the intermediate and advanced groups.

Philip Hinton ARPS, from Ashford Camera Club, had the task of judging a wide range of images. Winner in Group 1 was Terry Scales with his image Arlington House Car Park View. Group 2 was won by John Myer with Dickensian Man.
The club has also enjoyed some excellent speakers. lan Howard led a discussion on “the philosophy of your photography” and posed some questions including why we take photographs.
