Waddle's Euro vision call to give sorry Ange a boost

CHRIS WADDLE has become the latest former player to stick the boot into Tottenham, saying they have been "dreadful" and their season is "dead" if they are knocked out of Europe.

Even though they are in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, Waddle reckons boss Ange Postecoglou has no excuses for so many topsy-turvy performances. A case in point is the two legs against AZ Alkmaar in the previous knockout stage, where they tamely lost 1-0 in Holland before roaring back at home to win 3-2 on aggregate.
