Oasis fans to cough up on pricey stays in the capital for huge gigs
OASIS fans will have to fork out almost 50% more for an Airbnb when they hit Dublin later this year.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will play Croke Park on August 16 and 17.
Research by QR Code Generator pulled average Airbnb prices for a one-night stay for two guests on each upcoming tour date, specifically “entire home” listings available in each city centre.
This was then compared to the cost of a one-night stay the week before and after each tour stop, to calculate the difference between the tour date and the typical rate.
Dublin has shown a 48% increase. Prices for an Airbnb one week before or after the show costs €498 but the prices change to €738 for a night's stay during their Dublin tour.
