FORRESTER PUTS PAT'S IN THE DRIVING SEAT
Irish Daily Star
|July 25, 2025
ZACK ELBOUZEDI is set to miss St Pat's trip to Estonia next week after suffering a suspected dislocated shoulder in last night's 1-0 win over Kalju.
The Saints winger was forced off midway through the first-half of a feisty game, initially appearing to have hurt his wrist.
But manager Stephen Kenny revealed the injury is serious, saying: “It doesn’t look great for Zack, he's in hospital at the moment. It's a possible shoulder dislocation.”
A late trio of subs joined forces to deliver a fairytale ending for Pat's with Chris Forrester pouncing to put Saints in control heading for Estonia next week.
Kalju were physical and aggressive throughout and had two players sent off — both on second yellows — in a four minute spell in the second-half.
