Struggling to cope with ex-partner's mixed messages

I was with my ex for almost six years and we lived together for five-and-a-half years.

Struggling to cope with ex-partner's mixed messages

When we split up, I moved out, but we were back and forth with each other quite a lot, being intimate at weekends, then we started seeing each other during the week.

We ended up getting back together last August, only for him to end things two months ago and I'm really struggling. He told me doesn't love me any more, which was hard to hear. I suppose I knew the break-up was coming, I just didn’t want to admit it.

Now he won't see me or hear my voice because it upsets him and when I ask to talk to him over the phone instead of via text, he just says, “maybe”, then doesn't bother. I feel like he's trying to push me away so he can move on, but somehow not feel guilty for it.
