Horse owner killed in crash near airport
FATALITY Scene of the incident near Dublin Airport yesterday
HORSE Racing Ireland has paid tribute to John Fleming who died after being struck by a bus near Dublin Airport in the early hours of yesterday.
The incident occurred on Corballis Road in Swords shortly after 12.10am.
Gardai and emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus.
Mr Fleming, who was in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was an accountant and had published the Irish Racing yearbook for more than two decades.
