US First Lady threatens to sue Biden son on claim Epstein introduced her to Trump
MELANIA Trump has threatened to sue Hunter Biden for more than $1billion after he claimed she was introduced to husband Donald by Jeffrey Epstein.
Lawyers for Melania, who married the US President in 2005, branded the allegation “false, disparaging, defamatory and inflammatory”.
The legal threat comes after Mr Biden - son of former US president Joe - this month criticised Trump's past ties to paedophile Epstein.
In a letter addressed to Mr Biden's attorney, the First Lady's legal team demanded he retract the statement and apologise or face a lawsuit seeking over $1bn in damages. It equates to €854,990,100.
The letter says the remarks caused her financial and reputational harm.
And it accuses Mr Biden of having a “vast history of trading on the names of others” for his own gain.
