KATHRYN Thomas has announced she is set to launch her own podcast as she confirms her return as co-host of the Rose of Tralee.
The former Operation Transformation host, 46, said the Kerry festival is set to return to our screens on August 18 and 19.
But the Carlow star and Q102 breakfast presenter is also planning to launch her own podcast soon.
Kathryn said: "I'm probably the last person in Ireland to do a podcast.
"My agent has been on to me for literally eight years about it. I didn't have the time or the head-space. And we're in the middle of doing a pilot for RTE as well so there is a lot going on. I can't ignore the podcast space anymore. As a woman now in her 40s there are certain subjects that I want to chat about, and I want to know more about, that I listen to other podcasts for.
