Jessie J shares news with fans after breast surgery

Jessie J has promised to share the highs and lows of her journey after having cancer surgery.

The singer had the op on her breast this week, just days after performing at Wembley Stadium.

Now she says she wants to use her social media to chart all the ups and downs of her recovery and further treatment.

She said: "I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through. Grateful to my doctor and surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me, and all my family and friends who came to visit."

Jessie added: "I am home now, to rest and wait for my results."

Her last show prior to the surgery was Capital's Summertime Ball on June 15, where she told thousands of fans at the national stadium: "Summertime Ball, today this show is my last show before I go and beat breast cancer."
